TexasTejano.com has developed historical traveling exhibits to help educate the community on their Tejano heritage. These exhibits have traveled to schools, universities, museums and other institutions. The first exhibit entitled “A Tejano Son of Texas”. This exhibit chronicles the life of an extraordinary Tejano Pioneer; Jose Policarpio “Polly” Rodriguez. It includes maps, documents and photos that help identify the role Tejanos played on the Texas frontier. A second exhibit, “Tejanos in Texas Heritage” Exhibit gives a descriptive view of the history of Texas beginning in 1690. Also, a “Tejano Historical Portrait Series” was created to give a face to Tejanos. We chose 6 significant Tejanos to feature in the first series and are currently working on a second series. We welcome inquiries on our exhibits or available presentations.
