1890’s Saddle

Artifacts | Ranching |

This is a leather saddle made from a wood tree stock with leather stirrups with “Tapaderas” (stirrup guards). It has a steel pommel and wrapped with leather. It has a low rise cantle and a low rise fork. Most of the leather straps are missing and those in place are held by its leather Conchos.
