In the 2009 Medallion Magazine, published by the Texas Historical Commission in Austin, Texas, an article appeared about the Hispanic Heritage Center of Texas and Texas Tejano.com. The article was written by the editor, Mr. Eddie Hobbs, and focused on the previous work of Texas Tejano.com championing Hispanic heritage and legacy. Also, he wrote about the new formation of the Hispanic Heritage Center, a 501c3 non-profit, and the role it will provide in leading the way to tell the story of Tejanos, the states first pioneers.
Further, the article explained that the Center will consist of a multi national museum, research library, conference center and a vibrant Tejano Living Heritage Village. The Center will be located at HemisFair Park in the heart of downtown San Antonio, Texas. The site is two blocks away from the Alamo and the San Antonio River. For more information please contact us.
